Reconnect Deck

We have only looked at it once so far, saving it for when its quiet & we are living separately so it is a matter of planning it in advance, but baby steps for us, the questions we did ask each other made us smile straight away though & really think about how we felt at that time :-)

Haven't really had the opportunity to really engage with the cards but did ask a few questions of each other and look forward further discovery and engagement.

Yes... Well now I have to talk to the wife.. She pulls the cards out whenever I'm engrossed in a good action type movie. Not only learning to talk to the old girl but also relearning how to be a patient, loving husband is something I never expected to experience at my time of life..

The cards in their box are a good fit in most decor so can be kept at hand but still private. We have started slowly and find it difficult after 40 years together to remember many of the early day details but it certainly gets us rediscovering times in the past. It will be an interesting journey.

We have started using the reconnect and go deeper decks and really enjoy them! We choose a card each, tape then into a little journal, and we each write our thoughts before talking about it.

Cards are great, but mostly it was the customer service that surprised me in the best way possible. In today's world great customer service is a rarity, but when there was a very slight delay in one of the order processes, we recieved an email straight away and were looked after so well we couldn't help but feel like a real, valued customer. Thanks again for the great cards and amazing service. (PS I never leave reviews but felt this was exeptionally handled)

This has really bought great communication to my wife and I relation ship . After having 2 kids we don’t get much time spent with each other and now on Friday nights we share some cards with each other and gets the conversation rolling over a few wines . Highly recommend

I purchased the Pakks cards to bring some 'life' back into our relationship, to open more meaningful conversations and hopefully reconnect. Thankfully, my husband was willing to give it a go and it's been a lovely way to remember why we were attracted to one another 16 years ago and to have conversations that put some spark back into 'us'. We still have work to do but this has been surprisingly easy and I can see and feel the results already. Thank you!

Controversial review... I'd been thinking that my 8 year marriage had taken its course. We were young when we married and our lives hav gone in different directions. I got these cards not as a way to reconnect, but to try and see if we should even still be together. It became obvious very quickly that my gut was right. We split up, actually, but we're both really happy now and realised through some tough chats that this was the better way forward. I know they're meant to bring you closer, but for us they worked magic in a different way.

Got these as a gift (not sure what they were trying to tell us hahaha). They sat on our coffee table for a while and then one night my partner cracked them open and it became verey obvious why they were gifted to us. Got us chatting about some things that we've both been holding resentment over

Relaly good, hard questions but ones that need to be asked

I’d seen it online and wasn’t sure if it’d be another Instagram gimmick. It’s not. You can tell it was made by someone who really understands relationships. And they're beautiful!

it’s not magic, but it gave us a moment to choose each other again. that alone makes it worth it....

I was sceptical but the pacing of the questions is really thoughtful. You don’t dive into the deep stuff straight away—it warms you up first and reminds you why you fell in love. Tricks you into being positive before you go into the tougher stuff!

A few of the prompts hit really close to home. We needed to talk about those things, but didn’t know how. Now we do.

I wish we had this years ago. We’d have avoided so many arguments. Still have a long way to go but this is easier than going right to therapy which we didn't want to do

Full on but really good. My therapist recommended these because we've been going through a 'challenging season' for lack of better words... If you don't have the cash for therapy, we found these to be really helpful to dig into some of the harder topics that nobody wants to bring up. And actually, the last section forces you to think about solutions, not just how you feel which is what has been most helpful for us. WE don't have the notebook but I wish we got it so we could have written some of these things down.

Some of the questions were confronting—but in the best way. We didn’t argue. We listened. That felt huge.

It’s weird how something so simple can be so impactful. I think we were both scared to admit we were drifting. These cards gave us a bridge back. I think most of my male mates would be reluctant to get these because the lads are the best at talking, but these are pretty good.

Our attachment styles are totally mismatched (I'm more anxious, he's avoidant). This deck met us in the middle. It felt safe for both of us.

The questions go a bit deeper than we were used to, but in a good way. It helped me understand my wife’s perspective in a way I hadn’t before.

Far out, definintely didn't expect the rollercoaster of emotions that these brought on but it was VERY clear we needed this. She bought them but I'm the one who doesn't talk much and it was nice to not have to come up with something to say.

My partner rolled his eyes when I brought it out, but ended up pulling more cards than me by the end. It’s structured in a way that doesn’t feel awkward. Just... real. It gave us a path back to each other. These are pretty gay friendly too which was cool. We weren't sure what to expect.

This deck helped us name things we’d been tiptoeing around. Nothing explosive, just honest. Like we could finally exhale and stop pretending things were fine.

Nice quality and fast shipping. good questions but kinda intense so get ready. we like them but defo k now that it's not light chat for these. the laughter deck is better for that but these are better to help if you are having some ithings you need to work through.

I'm a guy and I think we're usually seen as the ones who struggle with emotions. But yy partner is the one who's emotionally avoidant and wasn’t sure how this would go down But the way the questions are structured made it feel less confronting. She actually opened up and we noticed that having something to prompt discussion that isn't one of us nagging the other sort of felt like a third unbiased person in the room.That helped to keep things less emotionally charged and more solutions focused. We also have the notebook and write down some things from time to time so I can just kinda point that out rather than reminding her what we said we were going to do. Love this idea and think it could really help other secure/avoidant partners.

So I'll start by saying that I didn't really understand what these cards were when we got them. But after we pulled a few cards with the reminders of why you love each other or whatever, it was so nice to revisit the early days. And it was really cool because we had a big fight a few days later, and that conversation helped us repair faster becuase those reasons why we love each other were so fresh in our minds. We're not far into the deck yet - it looks like the questions get a bit heavier - but I'm looking forward to it. I really think these are going to help us talk through some of the elephants that have been sitting in the room with us for a while.
